Getting Started

Start with setting up the tech you will need before and during your trip. Most take less than five minutes and make everything easier once you’re on the road.

The Tern app puts your full itinerary in your pocket:  maps, confirmation numbers, daily schedules, and direct messaging, all available offline. Download it before you leave so everything is accessible even without Wi-Fi.

Once installed, log in with the same credentials you use for your itinerary log in credentials. Your itinerary will sync automatically.

To download:

Search “Tern” in the App Store or Google Play. The app is free.

To set up:
1. Create your account on your desktop first using the steps above.
2.  Download the Tern app on your phone.
3. Log in with the same email and password you just created.
4.  Turn on notifications so you receive itinerary updates and messages.

What the App Does During Your Trip:
-Offline itinerary access — download your itinerary before departure and view it without WiFi or data
-Tap-to-call — call restaurants, hotels, and emergency contacts directly from your itinerary
Tap-to-navigate — open directions to any address in your itinerary
Direct messaging — reach me in real time during your travels

Use Offline:
Open your itinerary in the app while connected to WiFi and download it for
offline access. This ensures you can view everything even without an internet connection — useful in areas with spotty service or if you’re conserving data.

All travelers in your party can download the app using their own login credentials. If you need a second account set up for your travel companion, just let me know.

What Happens Next

Once your account is set up, you don’t need to do anything else right now. I’ll begin designing your itinerary, and you’ll see it take shape inside your studio as we move through the process.

When you’re ready to prepare for your trip, your Travel Studio page has everything you need — packing guidance, travel document checklists, currency and tipping information, and more. I’ll send you the link when the time is right.

For now, you’re set. I’m already thinking about your trip.
